Stacey Garretson Bookkeeper E-mail - stacey@cloptoncpa.com   Stacey joined the firm in January, 2005. She has extensive experience in general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, payroll processing and payroll reporting. She began her journey into the accounting world in 1996 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She took a position working as a receptionist for a small CPA firm, but quickly worked her way from receptionist to full charge bookkeeper. Stacey moved to Garland, Texas in late 2000 and continued her path in the accounting field. Over the years, Stacey has become very knowledgeable of various accounting software packages and has been deemed a "QuickBooks Whiz".   Outside the office, Stacey enjoys being a wife and proud stepmother of four children. She and her husband, Doug, have been married five years and live in Garland.

Gary Russell CPA E-mail - gary@cloptoncpa.com Gary Russell joined our firm as a seasonal tax preparer for the 2003 tax season--and he keeps coming back! Gary is the federal tax manager for 7-Eleven, Inc. and has been preparing returns for individuals, sole proprietors and corporate clients since 1981.  Before joining us, he made house calls and worked from his home office in south Garland. Today he serves his clients here at 610 Main Street and shares in the tax season load for our new and existing clients. Gary is available for evening and weekend appointments throughout the year.  Gary received his B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin in 1977, an M.P.A. from Southern Methodist University in 1980 and earned his CPA certificate in 1993. Gary and his family have lived in Garland for the past 22 years. He and his wife, Cathy, have two daughters.
